RECALLING OF MEMORIES

Story of Shashank started from fresher’s only while we were seating and enjoying the event. I slightly turned and talk with another friend. She was not so close to me, but we talked enough. At that time only I saw Shashank for the first time. He asks about my name from Sushma. I was clear because I was able to read her lips, it was my name only. I don’t know why he asks about me or wanted to know about me.  God knows everything why he wanted to know.

Well after the freshers it was a week when I got a call from unknown number. I picked the call, and I was shocked just as the ghost appears in his gigantic figure. On the other side of the call, Ashwin was asking about some general questions regarding college activities. Yeah! Ashwin called me but why? He wants to say something about that day or wanted to ask something else. I was shock because I didn’t give him my number. I was replying like a dumb as wanted to end the call. I was not in the state to answer his question neither my surrounding was pleasant nor my mind was in a peace. Immediately I interrupt him and told him –‘I will talk you latter’.

With this again I rest my Words

I ended the call. Now what is going is inside and outside was contrasting. I was struggling to find the answer from where he gets my number? Is this the trick to talk with me? Here in my surrounding Chitra and Anshita were enjoying the glass of orange juices. Yeah! We were in the juice shop where we are having our favorite juices. I have already taken my juice. Chitra asked me –

 ‘What has happened Aliena?’

I told them Ashwin called me. They reply me in teasing manner –‘ohhoooo’

I don’t want to talk about Ashwin, so I changed the topic and start smiling with them. I reached the hostel my roommate Sandhya was talking with her boyfriend. She saw my confused face and asks me- ‘What has happened?’

The way she asked me was different as if she knows already what has happened. I asked in curious manner without even taking the rest of a second – 

‘I think you know already what has happened?’

But she refused as if she was doing this to know my ans. Now I took a long breath and told about the call. Now my another dilemma was whether I should call him or not? If I call him what I will say?

Oh! God struggling with all this is more difficult because here we don’t even have the answer key of the question.  Immediately Sandhaya told me that her boyfriend (Sumit) already knows that Ashwin was going to call me. Another twist, with a confusion how he has known about the action of Ashwin ? Did Ashwin tell something to Sumit?
